Let's hope the weather holds.
I need a head count so I have some kind of an idea on how much fish I need to bring. I may have to do alot of fishing this week.

Myself and Evelia.

Just finished laying two coats of epoxy on the laminate floor of our Burro and there are a few other odds and ends to do to get it in reasonable camping condition but we are ready to go.

We really don't eat fish so we will not be partaking in the fish fry.

Hi Roy. Autumn and I love fish so fish alot. We can put together some potato salad for the feast. We'll be heading south on Tuesday and arrive by way of Brown County State Park. Would pick up a tenderloin in Gnaw Bone for you, but not sure it would keep. Let us know by Monday p.m. if there's anything else we can bring.

Hi all. There is a chance that we will have to wait til early Saturday morning to pull down. Bill is working in Martinsville and is getting home late so if that happens we will wait until Saturday morning to come down. Just wanted to let everyone know. Should he happen to get rained out on Friday we will be there plenty early Friday evening. I am bringing him a birthday cake since Friday is his Birthday. I had a picture of the camper put on it. Only 2 more days to go !!!!!

Karen

We will be bringing lots of firewood.

Should we bring extra tarps? Or maybe muffins?

Latest forecast for Mitchel shows about 60 for a high and a 50/50 chance of rain all weekend.

So, has everyone dried out and warmed up yet?

Seriously though, once again Mother Nature could not prevent us from having a great time, right up until we had to say "So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish."

I'm dry but still not warm. Despite the weather I had a great time and am looking forward to the next get together. The camper is cleaned and ready to go already.

Thank Bill for the great fires he built and kept going in the rain. Hope Roy catches enough fish for next year, it was a fun time.

That was the best bluegill we've had in a coon's age. The potluck and get together was the high point of our "one lap around Indiana vacation". We stopped at Parke County but will do the bridges some time when the weather's kinder. Watching the Wabash overflow its banks gave us a not so subtle hint to head home to higher ground. Even tho the weather was sucky, we still agree that Indiana has wonderful state parks. We will be back!
