CA | Winter Gathering @ San Lorenzo, King City, CA (December 2013)

Last year a few FiberglassRV Rally members, between Christmas and New Year, met for an impromptu get-together at San Lorenzo Park. Some stayed for the whole time, some for a few days or just a couple days. It was a nice relaxing, un-planned gathering.

I was told by the Monterey County Parks Office, if we could get 10 reservations, we could have the use of the Portola Building. Since we don’t have much day light in December and the weather can be unpredictable, a place where we can eat together, play cards and (most important) Chit-Chat sounds great.

I wish I'd known a couple of days earlier, but I left all my cold weather camping stuff up in Washington (non-leaky canopy, hanging tent, sleeping bag, maybe even tent heater.) So I'll have to play it by ear and come only if the weather is supposed to be pretty nice.

When you all were there NY last year, were there any fireworks in hearing range?

No fireworks therefore no scaring the doggies.

The weather was dry, sunny a couple days, otherwise partly cloudy and cold at night.

If I'd known sooner I would have been there however I've got committments for that weekend.

I'm looking forward to the gathering in May if it's still going to be at San Lorenzo Park.

Yes, the 11th Annual FiberglassRV Rally will start on May 1st, 2014 at San Lorenzo Park, King City. Let us know if you can come or if you need additional info.
