This 1982 Scamp trailer has given us many years of service, but a tree fell on it last winter and split open the top. Cost of fiberglass repair would exceed its value if we took it to a repair shop, but someone familiar with fiberglass work might be able to fix it and have a good camper for a bargain price. Repaired, it might be worth $4,000 to $5,000 since these little guys are in pretty good demand. Or, if you are fixing up a different Scamp, this one still has all the cabinets, table, benches, beds, 3-way fridge, windows, etc. intact. And the steel chassis and wheels are fine, if you just wanted to make a trailer out of it. Asking $1,000 but will consider all offers. Seems a shame to haul it off to the wrecking yard or landfill.

Ow!

Is it just me or does $1,000 sound too high for a 1982 stove and fridge? Is anything else of significant value salvageable?

All the windows, since they're the original jalousie style and any overhead cabinets. Parting out, those things alone are probably close to $700 in assets

Well, I don't know about the poor lil Scamp, BUT! I can tell you Bigfork Montana is one of the coolest places, Artsy Fartsy town, beautiful lake just a wonderful vacation spot, so it would be a good road trip to a beautiful destination............................ You have to decide if the trailer is what you want. Im just saying the town it is located in is one of my favorite places to visit. Robin
