We have a 1970 Trail West
Campster License as a permentant trailer in California which mean it costs $10 every five years. We bought this last year and planned to remodel this trailer. We bought new
tires and packed the bearing. The pop top was taken off, old wood stripped and new wood put on, new catches, canvas cleaned. Ice box, 110
lights, 12 volt
lights, sink, two burner
propane stove, with five gallon tank. There is a water tank for fresh water but the pump needs work. The
battery got borrowed by another thing but worked everything when it was in place. The wiring has been reworked and all the outside
lights work. There is a seven pin plug. Hitch is a 2 inch. A new memory foam mattress from Walmart provides a comfortable full size bed with room for two to sit. New Coleman port-a-potty slides under the bed. There is still some to work on but it can be taken camping now. Lightweight and advertised as can be towed by a VW. New curtains and walls were painted with special
paint. Similar to a Compact 2 or Compact Jr. Asking $2500.
