1971 Campstar

Here we have a very rare, one of a kind, elegantly finished 1971 Campstar molded fiberglass travel trailer. I have never seen another one. It's main selling features are its pop top, (it can fit in the garage so the HOA won't mind), and the huge oversized queen, north/south bed. No climbing over your partner to get up during the night. Elegantly finished in grain matched cherry laminate curved front cabinets on the left and lightweight industrial finished, copper riveted aluminum with clear coat fronts on the other side. Don’t forget the gorgeous ostrich .New and ready to go. Clean clear title. Call for details 509-382-9747 www.sagatrailers.com. Lots of frame off build information

Let's recap the Campstar's ROADTRIPABILITY. Our word for fun. A 1971 Campstar featuring a frame off rotisserie reconfiguration. An all new frame was constructed with new springs, bearings, wheels and tires, jack, hitch, lights and wiring. Four corner crank down jacks are provided for leveling, just like a big rv. The body was repaired and custom painted in multicolor, high quality base coat/clear coat automotive urethane. A new top was fabricated with Prada quality featuring 4 screened, clear openings for excellent updraft ventilation and cool caboose style visibility. Pull the 3 latch handles, and the spring loaded top rises easily, quickly and gracefully. It features a 110/12 volt electrical system with 3 way maintenance charging to keep the battery ready to go every time you plug in. It also charges while you drive from the tow vehicle. Two heaters are provided, a thermostatically controlled 110 plug in, or a nice propane catalytic powered by the throwaway tanks available anywhere. The nice thing about this system is, if you don't need 1 or any of the heaters, you can leave them home and use the storage space another way! The interior lighting features several halogen spots and recessed lights with an excellent wall light. There is a nice sized 110 refrigerator and microwave, with a hidden, pull out outside kitchen, portable propane powered cook top, dish washing bin, 4 foot table, and conveniently located 110 volt plug in and quick disconnect park water sprayer with shut off valve. A unique over the pillows upper bin features lighting and a clock, and the perfect place to put tissues, watches and other small items when retiring for the evening. At the foot of the bed, hooks are provided near the ceiling on the walls to hang the clothes worn for the day, or a new wardrobe for the morning. A large closet houses plenty of room for the hang-ups and the large, newest style Thetford pull out battery flush port a potty. Many bins in the cupboards are provided for easy loading/unloading of clothing, food and what ever. Just pack them in the house, fill, and take them loaded to the Campstar. Unloading is just as easy and welcome after the letdown of a great trip and the realization that you have to rejoin your world. Large storage spaces under the bed offer convenient outside access, and also inside, under the cushion access. It weighs only 1000 lbs., so it can be towed by most anything...no need to buy another vehicle!!! Tow it behind your hot rod on those over night shows. Tailgate with it to the college game. Tow it to the wedding and have your own place to stay so you won't have to stay with uncle Teddy. Use it as a spare guest room in the garage or back yard. The grandkids will love it. Since it fits in your garage, the HOA won't mind. Take it just because....ROAD TRIP.... The Campstar is more useful than just about any rv you can buy, and bargain priced. It was built as tandem projects with the 1970 Trails west Campster also for sale now on eBay at another listing…please check it out.
