1975 Boler trailer for sale $5800-sold

Selling our 1975 13' Boler. Interior has been completely redone, repainted, updated wiring, new upholstery, curtains, foam, solid oak cabinet doors. Has 3 way fridge, that works great, heater is there, but i have never required to turn on. Interior is in great condition. Exterior, new tires, new axle installed with about six inches raised for extra clearance. Shell is in great shape, but paint is in fair condition. Tows great, 900l lbs dry weight. We have purchased a slightly larger trailer thats why we are selling.

Looks in nice shape.
It will probably sell quicker if you add a price and where in BC you are.

Questions & info

Hi-- is this unit still for sale? & also how much trouble is it to bring it into the U.S. if it it sold in Canada and the buyer is a Ca. resident? Thanks for any info, years ago I had a nightmare with a boat bought in Canadian waters. Thanks Rich

Hi Rich, the trailer is still for, I am not sure how it is for bringing across the border, perhaps there is someone else on the forum that has a good idea about crossing the line. I will see what I can find out. I am willing to meet you in Woodburn Oregon if you purchase (wife loves the outlet mall there)

We sold our Trillium to some people from Wa state. It was an easy process for them they just had a little trouble at our small border finding the right form to fill out for an 'antique' trailer! There was no cost for them. I would suggest the buyer call the border crossing you are crossing at and ask them the process and keep the person's name in case you do run into any issues.
My understanding is that as Canadians we cannot take something like a trailer to the States and sell it, the buyer needs to take it over the border and export it but I may be wrong.

I wonder what happens if you are in the US and you find another trailer and you want to trade in? Will the dealer accept a canadian unit as a trade? Interesting thoughts, anyone know the answer?

With cars, anything more than 20 years old is considered a "classic" and there are loop holes that make import/export much easier. This trailer is a 1975, so perhaps there are loop holes here also?

As far as getting the trailer into the US, what happens if someone takes the trailer into the US and "abandons it" once it is there? If you blow the engine in your car, it might not be worth towing it home (depending where you are and what its worth). I'm sure there are rules here too....
