I wasn't sure whether to list this here or not. It is molded
fiberglass, but not a trailer. On the other hand, this site is about molded
fiberglass RVs, and RVs are not just trailers, but can also be motorized. So... here it is.
Pretty cool unit! I used to have a '77 Toyota pickup like this (but just a plain pickup; not a Chinook).
Partial description (much more in the listing):
Vehicle Description
I am selling my beautiful 1978 Toyota Chinook "Newport" series RV. This is a one of a kind collector's item, made with a seamless hardtop
fiberglass shell, built on those beautiful old Hi-Lux chassis, with the ever reliable 20R engine. I bought her in 2005 for $3000, and have put over $2000 in repairs and upgrades since then. Just turned over 100,000 miles 1441 miles ago. She's clean inside and out for a 30yr. old vehicle, but is by no means "mint". For what she is, she's in great condition, and has taken me many miles with many smiles. I originally bought the Chinook to live in, but realized I was too idealistic and reserved it for camping trips and Burning Man instead. It's been my dream to restore her to original condition, but that legacy will have to be passed on to another loving soul, because I just became a father and need the cash right now.
