I am just disappointing to see someone here being pretty sceptic without any real grounds for it or at least confirming their scepticism by a call to the Scots or the hardware store, before going public with their doubts. In going public they may have sabotaging a good deed by reducing the interest here in the trailer. In working on fund raisers I am often surprised at who the most generous donors are and more often than not they are not ultra rich philanthropies.

I am very interested in how the sale went. It was a lovely thing to do for the scouts and must have made the day exciting! Wish I could have gone, but it was too far to drive. If anyone hears how it went, I hope they'll post it for all,of us curious watchers!

Seems to me there was a trailer for sale - doesn't matter if its for sale on Ebay or a yard sale.

It would be fun to hear that someone here did go for it and got it for a great price. Although it might result in a couple of more grumpy folks here

Had to run up to the cabin to shutdown for the season as they had a hard freeze Friday night. So, sorry about the late update.
  • Lots of fun for the Cubs who loved "demo"ing the used toys.
  • Darn near every item sold for under ten dollars, including treadmills, bikes, TV's, you name it.
  • Five registered bidders on the trailer.
  • Final bid was $3800, fair for all I think.
  • Trailer went to a young couple with a baby who I am sure will enjoy its use immensely.
  • ALL $3800 went to the Pack, of course.

Thanks for everyone who participated and supported the Cubs.

BTW, for those of you that couldn't make it, some pix!

Yay! Sounds like a fair price and a great donation to the scouts! Hope that young couple finds this address and posts some adventures!

$3800 was a steal for that trailer. Now I wish I had talked to someone who knew what they were talking about.

I figured you might say that Steve oh well we have all let the naysayers get the better of us once in awhile.
