We're asking $10,000 but are open to offers that are reasonable. I'd like to move this out of our driveway because we have just purchased a 25RQ and it's crowded!
Bought new in 1998. Structurally in great condition. New tires, greased bearings and new bushings this month (prepped for a planned trip) before idea to upgrade was hatched.
Cosmetically
1. Finish is faded a bit in areas
2. Water stain on the entry way linoleum.
Questions are welcome.

Francene, I have sent you a PM with some information.
To others, I can't seem to find the edit post button...but I want to edit my original post to reflect a price change to 10,000.00. This is more comparable to similar units on the market I believe.

Mike, I fixed your post for you.
I think lowering your asking price was the right thing to do.

Could you post some pictures of the inside? I'd like to see the stain, colors of the interior etc. Please take pic's from different directions. We just had ours of a similar vintage totalled.
Thanks!!

I will. BTW I posed the following question to BF Industries on 8/25/08 and received the following answer.
**Some background, With the BF un sheltered I left the front starboard window open about 3 inches by mistake during the last winter season and rain blew in through the opened window.
Q: We own A 1998 1500 series 17 foot.
Water has gotten in by the starboard front window and discolored the
flooring (blue-ish stain) in the entryway. Is this only cosmetic or do
I need to be concerned about the subfloor? What is the subfloor
material? Thank you. Bigfoot Serial #: 08489
A: The floor is the first component that is laminated into the molded shell;, so I doubt water has caused this stain, but you can tell if the floor is soft.
The floor has a 1/2" plywood sub straight that the lino is adhered to.
My observations are the floor is NOT soft and I don't believe there is any hidden damage either.

Our kids were younger at the time we bought this and not so stain resistant so my wife made cushion covers from a stripped heavy fabric. The original cushions and fabric have never seen the light of day, aside from when the covers get washed. The stripped fabric is a little bold but it was durable denim like and heavily discounted at the time and there was just enough left on the bolt to do the job. I think it cost around 6 bucks to buy the lot.
I'll post a zoomed in pict of the stain for you a little later today as well as the interior w/o the covers.

More pictures.
BTW, when viewing the dinette please note there is a bunk overhead. It was an optional storage area that folds down to a bunk bed for a young person. Our 4 year old used it two seasons.

The pictures are great, we had the same floor plan but a 1996. Did you keep the folding front for the bunk bed?

Yes, it is overhead storage with two access drawers now. Can be a bunk again by pulling out two large pins, one on either side.

Hi Mike, the trailer looks great, I'd like to see it in person though. We need to wait for our insurance to come through.
