When considering anything out of Riverside, Ca, please proceed with extreme caution.
In this case, the seller has posted a CL ad "Needing" a trailer. Please note the phone # in this ad and compare to the eBay ad. (They are the same)
Oddly enuff, they "Need" a trailer, yet at the same time have 2
for sale on Craigslist..+ this one on eBay
(Also, compare the phone #)
Perhaps they just don't like the trailers they do have and they "need" another.
I have seen ads in the Inland empire Craigs list claiming that a rig is needed for a starving family with little kids.. and the same # and seller shows up a short time later with several trailers
for sale at the same #.
One of our members actually bought a rig from this (Or someone like this) person and even tho he was happy with his purchase, he was not happy to hear it came to his seller via questionable means.
They buy throw away phones, so the # changes, but the pattern is the same.
Now, I have no positive evidence that *this* rig is from *that* seller, but, please.. use caution based on the ads I have just copied and posted in this thread.
It's not a "scam" because the rigs actually exist.. but it still stinks. At the very least, this seller is a trailer dealer and not revealing this little tid bit.
I have seen MANY ads with this exact pattern on the inland empire CL. All located in Riverside. All with very poor writing quality. Poor spelling, poor punctuation. Just as all these ads are.
