2006 Casita Freedom, FL
At Scamp Camp this week there is a 2006 Casita Freedom Deluxe for sale. It is in immaculate condition. The couple has decided it's time to quit traveling. It has a brand new awning as the wind got theirs on the last trip. It has new tires, Cargo box on rear, Flat Screen TV, DVD Player, Antenna, microwave/convection oven combo, Dual Propane Tanks, always stored under cover which it comes with, loads of nice, practicle storage mods and a custom mattress. Lots of other stuff I'm sure I've forgotten. This trailer is clean enough to eat off of. They have title in hand and are asking $11,500. The trailer is at Highland Hammock State Park in Sebring, FL for the next 2 weeks before returning home to Cape Coral, FL. PM me for their contact info as I wont post their phone number here. They are not computer folks and had never heard of our little group. If you've been waiting for a like new trailer this is it!

I just recieved a call from the owner of the Casita and they were able to get pix taken. They are returning home tomorrow and will email me the pix where I'll post them here. I forgot to mention they have an electric tongue jack too! They'd like to see it go to it's new home so they dont have to store it since it will no longer be used.
Any takers???

Newb lurker here, in the market for an egg. We've decided a Freedom D should work well for us and would like to try one out. Did you ever get the photos for this one? We'll actually be in FL in a couple weeks. Do you recall if it had a furnace? We're in the NE and would want one in our egg.
Thanks!

Yes Gerry, it does have a furnace. The pix are suppose to arrive today. They are trying to coordinate with their Grandson back home to get them sent. As soon as I get them I'll post them here.
Good Luck, it's a beautiful trailer.

gerry---this is exactly the kind of referral you would want----a trailer that has been not only viewed, but checked over, by a member here. not only that, but melissa has only recently purchased her present unit, which means that you will benefit from her knowledge of what other units she's seen, for comparison's sake. good luck! it sounds like a beautiful trailer plus you have melissa's keen eye on it.

Casita PIX!!
I have pictures now! For some reason the one of the curbside did not come through so I'll request that one again. Notice the storage cubby at the bottom of the bathroom door for remotes and the one on the wall divider and you cant see one on the other side of the divider. These pix are only 100KB so if anybody wants I can email the orginal pix so you can enlarge them on you PC to see better.
Thanks for the compliments Theresa I've learned e'thing here from these wonderful and knowlegeable folks!

Dont know why I'm having issues getting these pix to show up. Normally you can see them in the post, I've never had pix make a link before. The owners are having their Grandson send me 9 more photots, more of the outside etc. She doesnt know why he left those off.

I wonder where the furnace is?
On every one I have seen it is directly in front of the bed under the sink where it clearly is not in these pics?

Well it looks like this newbie can stop scouring craigslist 5 times a day looking for the right camper. I spoke to the owners yesterday and today, and committed to bringing this one north to a new home. We've got a nice heated workshop to store it in, so the cold shouldn't shock this FL camper too much.
It sure looks like the owners took care of this one, and lots of nice add-ons come with it.
Robin & I just cracked a celebratory ale! :-) We're looking forward to picking it up in a few weeks, and we'll have a nice shakedown run up the coast.

CONGRATULATIONS, Gerry! So glad to see it go to a member here and a nice storage building for a home to boot! It will keep that beautiful, shiny exterior all it's life now I bet. So happy for you!
Guess this needs to be moved to archives now.
