CO | 2007 Scamp 13

Our 13 foot 2007 Scamp has been the perfect trailer for boondocking in Colorado, camping beside small trout streams, spending the night at the end of cross-country ski trails, and visiting national parks across the west. We loved it dearly, but life changes.

It is small, but sleeps us plus two grandchildren, with furnace, two burner stove, sink and water tank. It has a roof mounted 50 watt solar panel. Tires are pretty new and good. It has extra cabinets front and back, a galley window, opening rear window. There is a built in stereo, satellite radio antenna and mount. Fantastic fan and Rocket pump. The condition is good, there are a couple of minor items I have to deal with this week.

We bought it new right after the factory reopened.

As we start doing more long road trips (Alaska,Nova Scotia) we want a larger trailer.

I don't want two trailers, so if you might be interested, contact me quickly. It goes for a trade-in this weekend, so if you are at all interested, let me know this week. I will get together more pictures if anyone is interested. It has to go away.

Carla, our Scamp is now at Sun City Trailers in Colorado Springs on consignment. It was recommended that I lower the price to $7,000 to help it sell quickly. I hope to be up to the Springs some time next week and will take more pics then. In the meantime email me at barringcoughlin (at) gmail dot com and I will send you this one.

Our Scamp has sold.

We will miss it, but the addition of a 12 year old requires something larger. We have bought an R Pod 171, which seems to meet our needs best for this next stage of our lives.

FG RV site has been wonderful, from helping us make the decision to buy 8 years ago, to helping us sell this week, with wonderful, helpful and most of all friendly support over the 7 years of membership.
