Dear Mansour,
The trailer has been
sold and delivered, sorry. All along we were letting you know that our planned long trip put time pressure on selling the trailer. Unfortunately, there were too many questions in your transaction:
1.Our original agreement was that you would wire funds to our account or come to Portland and deliver funds in person – did not happen.
2.We were contacted several times by a person from WorldWide and their inaptitude raised serious doubts about reality of this transaction.
a.Person involved with logistics and shipping, did not know if Portland has a port and did not know were Oregon is. We were told that the transfer of funds would be by a company check. She asked us how we would like to take care of the transfer. It was not our responsibility to make arrangements to ship the trailer to Texas nor Saudi Arabia. These arrangements should have been made without our involvement.
b.During the last phone call the person asked us to deliver the trailer to the closest RV dealer and we would be paid by them. When we asked which one, the answer was the closest. WorldWide is likely a very legitimate business, but in our case it truly felt like a scam. We called the deal off.
There are Bigfoots advertised in this forum, but I would suggest to:
1.Sign the sale agreement and transfer funds in person to seller’s satisfaction.
2.Hire a vehicle moving company to move the trailer to Texas.
3.Hire WW to ship it overseas.
We are sorry that this transaction did not happen, wishing you the best of luck.
George.
