I have a 13 foot Scamp
trailer in Boone, NC. I am driving to NY state (up 81) on Tuesday (7/1) and can bring it with me if anyone up there is interested and gives me a holler soon. Anyone is welcome to come and look in Boone on Monday, or in August if I still have it by then.
is from '76 or '77; I'm the third owner. The trailer tows great and has been very reliable on the road. It's been painted with an off-white color, but they left room around the scamp
decals. There is rust on the hitch and on the jack, about what you'd expect for a trailer that old. I just replaced the electric connector for the road lights
and they are all working great (there might be a bulb out in one of the blinkers). I have not been using the kitchen inside, but the stove (a bit rusty) and fridge
worked well on propane
last time I used them. I never used a plug or battery
to run the fridge
. I haven't really used the water tank recently either, so I'm sure that and the hose need a good cleaning. I cleaned the tank like crazy when I bought it, and replaced the hose and faucet. The scamp doesn't leak.
Last season the battery
appliances (light and ceiling fan) were working great, but I think there's a bum fuse right now, and I don't know where it's located, so I haven't fixed it. The battery
is good, but needs a battery box. Comes with the battery, charger, propane
The upholstery and rug are in great condition, original tacky mustard color
It's a great look. Someone made some pale yellow curtains for it. One of the window cranks is broken, I have the piece if tou want to krazy glue it but was always going to order a new one. You can still crank it.
Hope that's informative! $2600.
