Trailer: 77' Trillium
Posts: 37
I have a 15' 1977 Trillium 4500 trailer for sale. It is clean and in good shape. We have upgraded these items: new watertank-10 gal. installed pump. new linoleum and carpet. The back window had been removed for a cooler and we reintalled the escape window. It has all the usual options- stainless sink, 3 burner LP stove, heater, 2-way frig-spare tire, lots of storage under bed/dinette and goucho. There are twin size bunks/goucho in front. the windows let in alot of air when open and with the vent open. there are plenty of lights in 110./12v plus an outdoor outlet and 3 inside. It is light and economical to pull. It comes with an LP tank and Battery located on the front tongue.
Asking $4700 OBO

Hello – I’m very interested in your trailer. Could you please tell me how big the beds are and how much weight the bunk bed holds. Thanks.

Hi Kurt,
The bed/dinette in back is double size I think. That is the size of sheets I use and they fit well. The front bunk/gaucho are larger than a cot but not quite twin size I believe. I use twin size sheets on them and they fit well. We have had men sleep in the twin comfortably when we used the trailer on the job. Makes a very comfortable couch with the top twin for the back rest. I don't know whether you are familiar with the trilliums but they are trimmed out very nice with a lot of storage.
Let me know if there are other questions.

Hi Kurt,

We have a 13' Trillium and the double bed is 6" wider in this model. I am 6'2 and found the length of the bed fine, the extra width of the 15" would be nice though. The bunk beds are long and narrow so if you are putting your kids in there (like we do) then you will want to put a bed rail on the top bunk and some webbing on the poles for the bottom bunk - otherwise those kids will keep waking you up every time they fall out.

Hi Scott,

If you look at the photo album for the 4500 that Fiberglass RV has you will see that this shelf was stock on the trailers:

Hi Fran,
There is no bathroom. RV Parks usually have one for you to use. There is a portipotti storage cupboard under the front goucho/bunk. It is really trimmed out nicely.

Hi Nadine,

I think I had a reply from you earlier in the year, but didn't have the time to come down to see you. Where bout is the trailer again, Sandpoint?
Any leaks or problems ? Anything need to be done to it?
What would you say is the worst thing about it? reason I ask, is that we are going to be heading to southeastern BC and are considering coming down to see the trailer.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Nadine doesn't come on the forum much. I recommend you PM her as she does check her email. I helped post her trailer pictures in the past.

Good luck on the your trailer hunt. Their was a BEAUTY 4500 in Calgary this spring for $4000. I was prepared to drive from Vancouver island to get it but it sold too quick.

Just a point of observation here as we have a 4500 as well. The front seat does not seem to have a backrest which is what forms the bunk bed. Kent asked the how much weight the bunk bed holds but this wasn't addressed in the answer because I believe there isn't a bunk bed - correct me if I'm wrong Kent, there does however appear to be a seat at the front of the trailer which is sufficient for one adult to sleep on - just no second bunk.

It looks like you could add the bunk on this model fairly easilty as the window is clear of obstructions. I have seen another 4500 locally that had a front table feature with a built in shelf where you could not easily install a bunk shelf - we passed on it because of that.

Just to be clear, "PM" refers to the website's "personal messaging" system, requiring a login here to check it. Email will go directly to the addressee's (incoming) email server.

You can have this website notify you (by email) if someone sends you a PM, but to be on the safe side, if I were trying to contact someone who doesn't come on the forum much, I would send them email, not use the PM system.

Of course, Nadine has her email set to "private," so you cannot send to her from this website.... so, well, nevermind.
