ARCHIVED: 13' Casita need overhaul

Hello,

I have a 13' casita that was once used as a jobsite trailer, this was purchase in an auction as part of a lot of equipment. I have no title! I started the tear down but lost steam on this project and decided to wait to find a 16' or 17'

Was wondering what a fair price would be on this?

I'm located in the Dallas area

Thanks!!

With no title you might as well sell it for parts, What year is it?

And why would I sell it for parts when I can get a homemade trailer title in Texas?

Same would be true here in Colorado - but in a lot of states no title is the kiss of death. Miles of red tape before you can get to the blue tape.
Some states require a bond that would cost more than your trailer is worth - in its present condition.
Perhaps you could secure the HM tile and sell it with that so an out of state buyer won't have to be concerned about that - just the restoration issues.

We have several very long threads that speak to the horrors of trying to obtain a title for an already purchased molded trailer. Based on that, living in Oregon which requires titles, I'd never purchase a trailer without one! YMMV

Then why are you asking? If you can get a homemade title then get it and then sell it, I'll give you $ 50.00 for it.

I'll double down on Bruce's question - what do you want?

Seriously...considering the cost to restore it as well as the cost to transport it to a buyers location it'd have to be under $500.

Hi Tim,
Please excuse the comments which are inconsiderate. Really I think range Peter cites is realistic and maybe generous.
