Thanks very much gentlemen, yes, I tried there yesterday,
but no luck at the moment.
I also tried vintage trailers, and they are out of stock as well?
This may be a bit of a challenge.
Would anyone know if there might be a replacement that might fit?
Thanks again, Jake.

Does your latch work at all? What is wrong with it? I have one on my Boler that was servicable; all it really needed was a new lock tumbler to make it fully functional.
The insides of the L-400 vary somewhat from year to year. The pivoting arm that actually does the locking has two different configurations, one with a pivot in the middle and another with the pivot at one end.
Nothing else fits without major modifications to your door.

Jake last spring I found three on the shelf at a small local rv shop, last time I was in I didn't see them (but wasn't looking). PM me if you want to call Massachusetts and see if they still have one. I think they were $95 US.

Hello Mike:
Thank you for the info, and YES, I would be very interested in the lock, if at all possible?
If you have the number, I can certainly give them a call, thereby not having you to make a long distance call?
Thanks again, and I hope you find another trailer soon?
Unfortunately, after all my renos, I have my Burro for sale, as
I was laid off indefinitely, the same week I picked it up.
Bad timing, I guess, oh well.
Cheers, Jake

Jake, sorry to hear about your employment situation. I am focused on a replacement for the larger camper first. Then I will focus on my next project. I sent a PM with the store info.

Hi there Ann:
Nothing yet, but if I hear of more than one set, I will let you know!
I am waiting to hear back from several RV Parts dealers that I have contacted.
Cheers, Jake.

Just as an FYI...When my burro burned I did look for my lockset, I found the only the lower third of the door. The lockset melted just like the window frames, so sorry but there was only a puddle of solder.

Hi Not sure if you found one yet however came across 5 today and picked up 2 "just because" they are available from time to time it seems at RED DEER RV in Alberta. No keys however they as well as Big Ben RV said the local locksmith can rekey them.....the ones I did not take ( two) were not functioning well however latch was in good shape on both.....the two goodies are in very good shape.......keeping at least one as back up.
So now that my needs are sufficed sharing my source!!
Cheers,
Cynthia

Hi Cynthia, do you still have your extra Bargman L400? We live in Calgary and might like to pick that up if you still have it?
