Boler cushions and covers

Anyone near Vancouver have some Boler cushions and covers that they would like to sell? We bought a boler with 'new fabric' but found out it was just a roll of fabric and ripped up old foam . Still bought it but desperately need new cushions. Ordering from Scamp to get near here is too much.
Thanks

If the cushions are still available...

Hi Brabomb,

Just wondering if you happen to still have your old cushions available? Or maybe you did end up selling them to Vinogirl?

I also live in Vancouver, and just purchased a Boler with no upholstery. I am in desperate need of some cushions, so please let me know!

(Sorry to jump in on the thread, I just though I would check!

No prob, Branch. Unfortunately due to the cost of new upholstery I had to hang on to the covers for a while. Best of luck finding some in your area, cheers

Hey Branch, I'm was in the same boat as well here in Langley BC after getting a jaw dropping shipping quote from Scamp. I bit the bullet on some new foam as I had to get something done quick. However I came across a suggestion in this forum that's worked out well for a simple DIY upholstery job. I had to make templates for new foam anyways so I did so out of 1/4" plywood and used that as a base to staple the upholstery to, similar to recovering the seat of a chair. You use less material and don't need a lot of skill to do a nice job. At $5/metre, Fabricland has a bunch of durable outdoor/awning material that I was told by an upholsterer is well suited for this application. I saved a couple of hundred bunks and my wife is pretty happy with the outcome. I will post some pics when I get a chance.

Problem Solved!

Thanks for your responses and suggestions everyone. Though, this problem is solved! My mom actually volunteered to make them for me, with my help of course We bought some vintage orange upholstery fabric, some big zippers and some 4" foam, and we are off to the races.

(BTW, If anyone needs to cut foam, the best way to cut it is with an electric knife. It cuts through the foam so easily and precisely. Just draw out your pattern and follow the line.)
