Haven’t as yet installing washroom in the very front , notch in rear bed might have helped with swinging legs in and out as I find this difficult as well. Your situation has parallels to many my wife and I camp in a 32 foot fifth wheel towing a lake boat behind. Comfort trumps coolness. I enjoy my riv and oxygen alone. Tried to compromise once by mounting a fifth wheel hitch in an 04 srt 10 viper truck single cab but she wouldn’t ride in that either. Happy wife happy life.
