Hi Larry! I read through your fascinating post on your rebuild, so jealous of yours and e'body elses talent to make their FG Trailers their own and exactly what they need. I havent been able to locate any finished interior pix of your Compact. Do they exist and I just missed them?

Thanks!
Melissa

EDIT: Am adding interior photos. Bed can be made up into several configurations: 72" square; 72" x 24"; 72" x 36"; 72" x 48". Water tank is not installed (in storage-goes with sale), drop axle that was replaced with straight axle to gain ground clearance also goes with sale. Note that the icebox was removed, and venilated pantry added instead. Extra drawer put in, along with cutting board. Mr heater piped into the propane system. Also a 6' x 8' gray awning that goes on the rear is included. Larry

I too am looking for a Compact II or a Compact JR on the East Coast but they are hard to find. Here is one closer to home but personally I am done with projects. I'm getting too old, I just want to camp!

COMPACT JUNIOR TRAVEL TRAILER

Oh and they weight about 1000lbs.

Yeah-- they're not as scarce here on the Left Coast.... That one you showed in the link is about the same shape as I started with...
A 1000# weight is conservative, check the weights of the ones in Frederick's post on trailer weights. Mine weighs 1600# loaded and ready for a week long trip.
