There was a post earlier about what can snow do on the roof of your Scamp.
Well, folks the proof is in the pudding! Better brush that snow off your roof.

Sad Scamp

This looks like one of those (seemingly rare) Scamps like the one that member "Robert W." has and was trying to identfy.

It has the same "tilt out" side windows as the Love Bug, a long door window, and then a three-part "tilt out" front window.

Partway through the thread I remembered that I had taken a photo of a Scamp just like this (and, apparently, like his), but although it looked like a factory Scamp, I could not be sure it wasn't some kind of mod. With these photos matching that one (and, it sounds like, matching Robert's) I'd say it must have been some kind of optional Scamp package (guessing late 70s or early 80s).

Here's a link to the aforementioned thread, in case anyone's interested; the photo I added was in post #18 in the thread:

Looks like Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.

Now can any of the king's men put him back together again?

To far away from me (1900 miles ) other wise I would look at it and make a offer. I bet the inside braces were taken out.

Yes i had a bottom half of a 13ft Boler. My neighbor owned it. It was parked under a big tall tree. The snow built up and fell on it. The top half was destroyed. I salvaged what i could, (I bought the unit). I wanted the frame which i latter put under another old Boler. Lots of the parts were farmed out at that time. Heck---I even sent parts to Texas.
