Fiberglass Camper Oroville, CA, $1000

Vintage Fiberglass Camper

I found this on Craigslist. You don't see these real often and thought meone might be interested. I couldn't figure out how to put in the images from craigslist, so you'll just have to go to the link.

This is actually a pretty cool looking rig. I've seen other truck campers that were bolted to flat bed trailers. Then you have plenty of room to haul toys.... just like the picture shows. A "towable" doesn't necessarily have to be a "trailer" as we all think of them.

wish I lived closer. I could put both my motorcycles on the front under the bunk and have all my toys in one place. Cool idea

There are places I might be persuaded to tow it, but if you're in Canton, Ohio, then that would be out of my range. Canton, TX...that I might do...

Thanks for the thought lwehrly, but it is Canton Ohio, that might be a little bit of a trip for you. I will just stick to my little Compact Jr. for now. maybe some day I will buy a large utility trailer and just strap it and the bikes on there when I want both.

Hey all, I called the guy last night and the trailer definitely is NOT included. If you hve a rig to put this onto, or a truck it will fit (at least a 3/4 ton) , then it's a great deal...

It looks like it might be a good idea to load motorcycles or something heavy at the front of that flatbed to give this thing some tongue weight. The camper is loaded way back.

Hi Fiberglass Campers and Donna

For those who i left hanging, I have bought the little Canadian FG Truck Camper.
I hesitated on the deal initially and he sold it to a brother in law. Feeling like a procrastinator trying to turn the clock back, I emailed him almost a month later and inquired if the deal had gone thru. PO emailed me 3 days later and said the brother in laws truck was way too large (8' box). I dropped him a retainer and will pick up camper this week.

Very Excited.

If you head back down the hill by Marysville Rd, stop at Collins Lake and get an ice cream. They are great, there isn't admission if all you're doing is getting ice cream, and its about the right amount of time to check to be sure all is riding well!
