Hello! Is this trailer still available? You said shower is disconnected. Is it operable? I assume it has the couch that converts to bunks as it is a number 4 layout? I love the cute colors! I have been looking for a used Scamp #4. I live in MN. I am currently in Idaho visiting relatives. Will be driving back to MN arriving back home by July 1st. What is the weight? I drive a Hyundai Santa Fe Limited, which is supposed to have a towing capacity of 3500#. This would be my first trailer so I have lots of questions. Also, I need it to be possible for one person to hook it up alone as I plan to travel both alone and with young grandchildren.

Also, what is reason for portable toilet? Did it originally have an installed one?

Stacey, I have sent you a personal response regarding our Scamp. However, I didn't answer your question about the portable toilet; we chose to replace the marine grade ceramic toilet because it was in poor shape. The ceramic was good but the chrome was peeling and the base seemed nasty. All in all, the original toilet seemed less than appealing so we opted for the Thetford Curve cassette toilet that has served well so far.

pics?

Zenmove: don't know to whom we should send pictures. The remodel thread has everything posted online with almost every picture I've ever taken of our Scamp. Look here: 1993 Scamp 16' repair and remodel

Well, then we're keepin' it...

We haven't had much serious interest so we've decided to keep Ziggy. Plans have been made to complete some serious modifications that will add more storage space as well as a more permanent bed extension that will allow us (specifically Bill) to sleep in the North/South configuration. You can follow on our mod thread if'n you're interested.
