Today is the last day to bid...I missed bidding on the last one because I assumed California time...but it closes on eastern time. This scamp come complete with pads, and it looks like it might have a bathroom. It is currently at $940.

I just came across this post, and live in So. Cal. Missed out again. The photo showed a few more in the background. I guess those were sold previously also. Oh well.

Cliff they auction off beat up Scamps on a fairly regular basis. Usually a few times a year.

Well I would DEFINITELY like to be in the know on when they do, maybe this will be how my dream 16 footer will come into my life! hehe That one that went for $1300 was certainly not so bad off that it couldn't be rehabbed pretty nicely with some elbow grease and a few dollars.
Maybe we'll make it a group effort, huh guys? hehe

they're salvage title.... so no full coverage insurance unless you have it re inspected and the title cleared.

Don't ever buy one without seeing it in person. They usually would take quite a bit more than elbow grease. As I've said before we went and looked at two bunches of them, they were trashed and had body and floor damage in addition to needing everything from tires, battery, propane tank, cushions, cabinet doors,...on and on.

It takes a lot to scare me, I've rehabed a trasher. The ones we saw might be workable if they could be bought for a few hundred dollars but they all went for over a thousand, a couple went over two thousand.

Edited to add....that one didn't look too bad, better in the pictures than anything we saw.
