Trailer: 74' Boler 13 ft

We recently moved to a new house while our Boler was halfway through a facelift and I think we are short only one part. That part happens to be the rainguard over the door which we removed to re-paint and seal. I cannot seem to find this as we are putting all the peices back together, I doubt that this part would be available anywhere but thought I should start checking if anyone has any ideas or suggestions on what I can replace it with? Any help would be appreciated.

Matt, are you near a 'friendly' auto parts supplier, like Lordco??

You no doubt have seen these plastic add on rain/wind deflectors mounted to/on car or truck side windows?? Well they also do the same thing when used as a rain gutter on an Egg. Only problem is you may need to buy a set of 4 to get the one you need to fit your trailer. Start by taking the measurement you need for the area you want to cover. It sometimes helps going a couple inches wider, for better coverage, but usually at same price as a smaller sized set. You need to examin the deflector package closely to find a set that has STRAIGHT covers, either for the front or back windows. These things come in a handful of colors even CHROME and all can be color painted to match the color OR contrast the trailer. A real good feature is they are attached with double sided tape. IF they stay on vehicles at highway speeds, they will remain stuck to your trailer side as well.

That part is actually called a drip cap. Scamp sells them, so do most RV parts houses. Here's the link to the Scamp store drip cap for entry door: Scamp Hardware - Drip Cap. Save S&H by buying locally. Someone from your area will probably jump in and provide a local dealer.

Thanks for the suggestions, the exact part is available locally around Calgary at Bucars RV in the parts catalouge and is under 10$. The wind deflectors are a good idea but a full set is about $100. Thanks again for the suggestions

Matt, I was considering using this EZE Gutter for over the door and windows on my Burro, sold for $2.00 a foot.
RV Surplus-EZE Gutter by the foot.
