We're offering a medium-sized Petmate Durabed to someone coming to the Oregon Gathering that would like a raised bed for their smallish friend. The inside bed measurement is 25" X 18". We thought it was a great way to get our dog off the dirt when we're camping, but it turned out to be too small for her. It's in excellent condition.

Is it too small for a Beagle? My little girl would love something like that. Her old bones don't like the hard surfaces anymore.

If it is Beagle sized, I would like it

Gina,

When Chert is stretched out sleeping she's about 27" from one end to the other - the enclosed sides on the bed make it just a little too confining for her. I think she's a little bigger than most beagles we've met. She's about 32 lbs., but is kind of long and short. If you're coming to the Oregon Gathering you could try it out then. It's yours if you think your beagle would like it!

P.S. If you find that the bed is too small, you could add a folded up blanket to it, raising the level of the bed enough that your dog could strech out and ooze over the sides.

THANK YOU!!!

Yes, I would like it. I may have it returned via Proxy (Fred and Robert) It sounds like it will do just fine.

Kitty (Yes, the dog) say ORK WOOF!!! (Thanks in Beagle talk)

We're so happy to be able to help Kitty! Do you think she might like this small pillow too? Chert isn't using it anymore and it just happens to fit into the bed pretty well. (The only bad part is I didn't include a zipper in the cover, so it's a nuisance to wash.)

Thank you for the pillow offer. I will pass tho.

She has *Her* little sleeping bag and it's the only bedding (well, besides MINE... ) she wants to lie on. They are persnickity that way sometimes.

I washed it once took her weeks to forgive me!

Sounds great! We'll bring the bed to the Oregon Gathering and pass it off to Frederick and Robert. We'll be in site A-8.
