I did contact them a few weeks ago. They adjusted the weight listing, after I asked about it. It originally said 1000 lbs. At 1450, it's a bit heavy for us. The interior is framed with wood rather than fiberglass, making it heavier there.
Plus it has no water tank; I wonder how big a challenge that is to install. Don't think it has a furnace, either. I was kind of looking for a bit of a fixer, and here they have done some things, but obviously there are some things it lacks.
It's pretty low priced; but no one has taken it and it's been for sale for weeks now. Isn't it a Havasu?
I'd really like to find a reasonably priced Trillium 13 nearby, say in Vancouver,BC area. Seems to be quite a few there. There's one in Sonora,CA, too far from me, but it looks like a good fit. Darn!
I think that you will find that 1450# for a Compact is about correct for an empty one.... Ours weighs right at 1600# loaded going down the road...
Water tank installation is easy, it just flops down under the side/seat cabinent (sp?) storage area on the driver side. Goes thru the hole easy... Then it is just a matter of running flexible food grade tubing to pump on sink... Mine is out for more storage (and not having to worry about leaks). I just flop a seven gal square jug under the sink and drop the tube into it.... Larry
