Redone Vintage Trillium for Sale

We are selling our completely modernized vintage 1973 Trillium 1300. There was not just some simple cosmetic changes done to this little fibreglass trailer – it underwent a serious overhaul! This is essentially a new (if they existed) 2011 Trillium 1300. The trailer was completely stripped down to just a shell and rebuilt from the ground up. All original working parts kept and the rest upgraded. It has a super light fibreglass body which makes it easily towable with virtually any vehicle. Everything is in great working condition!

Upgrades were complete in 2011 (many done at Team Trillium Mtg.) and include:
-a professionally painted exterior/interior,
-relined interior (with same material as new Outbacks),
-new 12 and 110 volt wiring throughout,
-new Novacool 2-way fridge with stainless door,
-new LED exterior lights and new interior lighting,
-new custom maple cabinetry with extra storage drawers and new table top (with matching sink/stove covers),
-new high quality upholstery, new horizontal blinds,
-new vinyl flooring,
-new awning with full screen/privacy room,
-new water taps/lines/pumps – has a manual and an electric tap,
-new modern front window guard with original frame,
-all windows professionally resealed,
-window in door and in kitchen
-classic original jalousie (louvered) windows, all with screens
-2 new roof vents,
-rare original aluminium frame storage shelf over table with new wood doors
-new extra cupboard in kitchen (over bunk)
-Coleman forced air furnace with thermostat,
-new propane detector,
-stainless sink and stove top,
-custom wide bunk with new ladder and bunk rail, (trailer sleeps 4)
-new lexon hatch covers
- frame and axle assembly professionally inspected
-new bearings
-new tires and aluminium wheels,
- new spare tire rack with tire
- new deep cycle battery with box

Asking $12500 obo. Price reflects fraction of money, time and effort invested but is negotiable with serious buyer. Photos of rebuild process and major receipts are also available. This fiberglass trailer has been a labour of love and we are sad to see it go, but we now need something to sleep 5.

Thanks, Dave! We love this little trailer. We seriously considered trying to find a way to add another bunk somehow to fit our third, but after a recent storm when all five of us were crammed in with no place to move, we finally resigned ourselves to the fact that we may actually need a trailer that is bigger.

We actually have one of those folding collapsible portable toilets (reliance brand) that takes the disposable gel bags. It worked great for us. We store it easily in one of the hatches and set it up in the add-a-room. We found this worked great for all the middle of the night potty trips for the kids and my wife when she was pregnant, it kept the extra clutter out of the trailer, and was a super easy cleanup. Never thought of it, but we could surely include the toilet in with the trailer. We still have a number of the bags too.

Hi Joel,
The brand of our add-a-room is a Shademaker from Interwest Sports. We bought the 8' awning from them as well. Here's the link to the company:

What a fantastic restoration. If during the process you'd only known you'd have a third, you could have modified it with a "slide". Seriously: it is VERY nice!

Thanks! And, believe me, we have joked many times about a 'slide' for the trailer...and even buying another Trillium and making a B-train. That would be a fun project.

Thanks so much for the positive review, Carol! Your input means a lot to us, coming from someone who has seen as many little 'eggs' as you have!

Marina,
Dry weight is about 1000lbs for these trailers. We towed this with our Saturn Vue with absolutely no problems, even over all the mountain passes!...Both the trailer and Vue were fully loaded too. I'll send you a PM.
