Why not buy one of the lil Wally world $15 heaters. They're a small footprint and dont take up much room and are light. (See link below) The LS is all electric if I'm not mistaken. When I bought my Scamp, I bought the heat unit option. This is a roof-mounted unit. For $80$ I wouldnt do it again...unless it was to help resale value as I dont have a gas furnace.

Just my $.02.....

Mark, you could install a heater of your choice. I like the one Denny Wolfe installed in his Lil Snoozy, as shared here:

A rather bold assumption, Dave, I can barely install a lightbulb.

Herschel - you say the Little Snoozy comes with a factory installed heater that will run you out?? It is not listed on standard features or optional features of their website. Am I missing something?

I do plan on camping in the mountains and being warm at night is a necessity.

Not sure if Herschel meant that his came with an installed heater... it might have been just a portable plug-in heater. I don't recall seeing one in his trailer when we visited last month at River Valley Egg Rally.

We use the ceramic heater when plugged in, but use a Coleman Black Cat portable catalyst heater when camping "off the grid".

I have a Scamp 13' with no built-in heater and I also use the combo of a small ceramic cube heater when plugged in, and a Coleman Sportcat catalytic heater (similar to Blackcat) when off the grid. However, I don't feel comfortable letting the catalytic run all night while sleeping (it is rated as safe for inside use, but makes me nervous). Instead to save on fuel, I use a hiking Nalgene water bottle filled with hot water in the foot of the bed. I made a little fleece drawstring bag for it so it is nice and soft. Toasty.

Lil snoozy sold!!!!

There was a lot of blood, sweat and tears put into our Lil Boozy. She has been sold to Randy and Tam from Punta Gorda, Florida. We wish them many good experiences with the LS and wish them and y'all…. HAPPY TRAILS!!!
