One tipoff was how the ad calls it a scamp and calls it a casita too. Someone didn't know any better, maybe.

Or they wanted it to show up in a search for either one. I wonder where he got the nice shiny pictures? My guess is this guy tells people he has a bunch of interest but if they'll paypal him $100 he'll hold it until they can come look.

Does Paypal offer any protection in cases like this? I've read posts where folks sent money (Paypal, Money Orders etc) for trailers out of state and then went and picked them up. I just cant see taking that kind of risk. The trailer and your money could be long gone if it ever really existed. On the other hand they sell so fast if you dont send money you may never get one if they dont pop up in your area very often.

Paypal has a pretty good protection service..... just spell out what you are doing exactly in the invoice when you send money to someone so you have a written record (fine read paypal's return policy)...... Never send western union, money orders, cashiers checks, personal checks etc
Paypal can also be a nightmare. Purchase something that's prohibited in their extensive fine print TOS and they'll close your account and keep the money in it for 6 months. There's nothing you can do about it either - they aren't subject to the same rules as a bank.
