Hi all:

I have a 10' wide (Trailer attach side) heavy weight all beige/ light brown
awning, with the accompaning poles and Guy wires/ropes.

I paid $150 for it, but it was too large for the Burro.

I have it advertised on Kijiji for $125, but would be pleased to get $100 for it,
otherwise it will just sit.

I also have the actual 10' long attachment "C" track as well, that screws onto the
trailer, that will go with.

Thanks, Jake,

I'd pass on the rail as that adds a difficulty to the shipping if that helps

Hi Brandy:
I received 3 e-mails today, and have replied to them,
just waiting to hear back?

IF, I don't hear from them by the end of the day today,
I will certainly check what shipping might be tomorrow morning.

The Vinyl is quite thick/ heavy duty and the poles are not light either,
so it may be expensive to ship, but i will gladly check tomorrw as mentioned.

Thank you, Jake.

Hey Jake after thinking about it I think I will pass ( my guess is one of the three will snatch it up)...however if you could pretty please get me a close up photo of what the edge that slides into a rail looks like (if its not a pain in the arse, I'd be most appreciative)

Thank You Brandy

Hello Brandy:

Yes, I checked today and because of the poles and weight of the vinyl,
they quoted me $85 for shipping.
A bit much, I think?

I will attach a pictures of the C-channel attachment.
It appears to be heavy duty rubber, with a hollow center.
Seems to be fairly heavily made, and durable?

My pleasure, All the best, Jake.

I bought some of the rubber edge stuff ( about a dollar a foot)from a boat top maker & sewed it on to a tarp added some extra
grommets & I now have a cheap serviceable awning

Yeah ann it appears that the edging is "pre wrapped and you just had to sew it on? is that correct? If so I was thinking to do what you have done. Any suggestions as to what you would do differently?

Jake's away Wilson, I'm supposed to be taking it when he's back. If so, that means I may have a spare 8' gold and white.

Hey Brandy
I know this edging stuff has a proper name-- it's rubber bead wrapped in fiberglass? & yes I just sewed it on to a cheap trap from wally world I did have to cut the grommets off one edge then add some back on to the the same edge at the corners near the bead for poles -- honestly the most difficult thing was finding adjustable poles I refuse to pay $10 each -so went the freecycle way!!

the only thing I'm going to do different (someday) is make another out of a good waterproof canvas
