No, the two that had very misspelled were 16 footers both out of the Bay area. One seem to have been pulled. (I still think they are the same trailer) LOL...................





I guess there are 3 people in Calif that can't spell "very". Ok, not that my spelling is wonderful, infact it sucks. But come on, "very" you learn to spell that in 1st grade.

I just noticed that this ad uses the word "verry" also. And yeah, it's not like it's one of the "easily" or commonly misspelled words, so it's odd that it turns up in two or maybe three Scamp ads within a week.

And while we're on the subject, it looks like it's on eBay now as well (ending May 2)

Raya, who knows but it sure is odd, that there seems to be several "Egg" sellers that don't know how to spell, VERY! Weird what you pic up on, huh? I don't know why this bothers me so much but it does. I am bad about mispelling, and the queen of adding to a word to get the point across such as, sooooooooooooo but why these "egg sellers" have picked the word very, if that's what they are trying to do, I would post (Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry) Clean. Just odd! Wish someone would post if they actually went and saw one of these, would be nice to know if their real trailers for sale or just a scammer.

I think you are too focused on just one word. I just did a Google search for "verry" and got the following result: Results 1 - 10 of about 2,700,000 for verry.

Clearly even though most of us learned how to spell "very" many did not.

Let's look at the full eBay ad:

We see the following misspellings:
verry
condtained
porter potty
curtons
tire's (instead of tires)
its (instead of it's)

This advertiser has spelling problems beyond just the one word of "very". If you want to try to tie this advertiser to the scammer you should see if the scammer had the same issues.

You're right that we have to be careful and do due diligence -- but that means weighing *all* the evidence. A scammer has been posting a Kiefer horse trailer all over for the last several days, but that doesn't mean every Kiefer horse trailer is a scam!
