I have a partially restored 1981
Burro for sale. This is a 13', comes with electric
fridge & freezer, 2 burner stove, sink. They are built to fit 4, but 3 is probably more comfortable. The dinette side converts to a bed and the other bench side converts to a bunk. This unit weighs 900 lbs so you can haul it with any car.
I have restored much of it - most of the tubing, and connections, new
propane tank, replaced the carpet with new vinyl, and best of all - I had it completely reupholstered and replaced most foam as well. The pattern is a neat retro style. If you know RVs, you know this is the major cost. This unit apparently did not have a water tank, only a hookup, but I purchased a 10 gal water tank and it just needs to be set in place. It has 2 110 v outlets. The main thing left to do is redo the headliner strip - I don't think this is a major cost.
I bought it last year, axels were repacked, I registered it, so it is ready to go. We have camped a dozen or so times and love it. We have another baby on the way, and decided we'll let it go. Now, I paid 3800 and put over 1000 into it, so I want to recover most of that cost. If I don't get that, I'll probably keep it and see if a family of 4 can camp in it. We really are torn as to whether or not to sell it.
