We have a 13'
Scamp, believed to be late 70's or 80's. Titled as a 72. From the ground up-- just installed a new
axle, great
tires, solid frame and a 2" coupler. Body has usual scuffs but we applied a product called NewGlass2 ( check it out on line), the exterior now looks close to new gelcoat with this product. LP bottle and all LP appliances have been removed, we've always used a campground with electric or brought our
generator for power and did our cooking outside. Interior has been cleaned to the bone, all new cushions, floor has been redone with pergo type flooring. Cabinet doors have been refinished with the same pergo type material. New air conditioner, porta-potty included. We were just finishing up this spring with the final details, when we stumbled onto a 17'
Casita. Once we did the modifications to our 1938 Ford which we used to pull the 970lb
Scamp to be able to pull the 2400lb
Casita and tested it, it's time to let the
Scamp go. The only things that are waiting to finish on our little Scamp to our liking was to remove the icebox and replace with a
refrigerator, refinish the table and make it foldable. Photo's available. $3,000.00 We have tried numerous times to attach photos with no luck. Photos can be sent with regular email or with regular mail if necessary.
