Trailer: 13 ft Scamp
Posts: 10
Well, it is time to say goodbye to our Scamp trailer that we have enjoyed so much. I have purchased an 18 ft trailer with more room for longer stays. This little scamp was designed to be pulled behind my truck I carry 30 gals of water and a 4.0 Onan mounted in the pick up. I used it as the head unit. so there is no holding tanks on the trailer. This way when I take a road trip it can be simple I have water and elec. with me. Also the way I wired it as you are plugged in the pick up and rolling down the road you can run the inverter to the fridge to keep your stuff cold or if necessary you can unhook the camper and use both batteries to run the inverter. There is a A,B switch on the TV so you can either go off antenna or plug into the cable at the park without having to manually switch the cable from the back of the TV.

This is a 13 foot late 70's Scamp with some very unique upgraded modifications:

Air conditioner (mounted on trailer tongue, thermostat controlled from dinette/bed.)
Dinette converts to bed, sleeps two.
Gaucho bench seat that sleeps one (removable and has storage underneath.)
Porta Potty by Coleman (new, stored under gaucho center cushion.)
City water hookups, cable, and electricity hookups are located at the front, drivers side of the camper.
13" TV with DVD, mounted in cabinet (with A-B switch for cable or antenna reception). Microwave, mounted in cabinet.
Overhead cabinets above dinette and sink.
Custom curtains and cushions, new.
Laminate wood flooring, new.
His and her clothes rods
Freshly-painted White, inside and out.
13" Tires are 4 months old.
Tinted windows.
7-pin RV plug connector to towing vehicle.
Backup light mounted on rear bumper.
Two 12 volt batteries with 1000 watt inverter.
Vector 10 amp automatic battery charger ,new, wired-in to keep batteries topped off.
Breaker box includes: two 15 amp circuits and one 30 amp circuit.
12V Power fuse block for future modifications.
4 outdoor 12V halogen flood lights (Great for Walmart Parking lots)
Dual interior light system: two double-bulb 12 Volt Interior Lights and two 110 Volt fluorescent lights
Two separate electrical outlets circuits: 110 volt and inverter 110 volt
One 12 V cigarette lighter attachment outlet, good for 12V oscillating fan with clip included.
Solar panel mounted on the roof, for battery power maintenance
Electric hot plate with single burner, stored under sink. No LP gas.
Roof vent with crank. Also a separate sky-light.
Inside and outside shower.
Electric hot water on demand heater, tankless
Electric oscillating heater, with remote control.
Kitchen sink and faucet for city water.
TV antenna, hard wired.
1.3 cu ft Refrigerator (single door style) runs on inverter power or 110 Volt.
Spare tire included.

Price is $5350.00
Trailer is located in West Texas, real close to San Angelo. If you ever wanted a small camper that you can back up and hook on in under 5 minutes. This is it !

Jeff

You have a very nice camper. It looks like you refurbished the entire interior and exterior. As pretty as it is, it's just a couple, thousand out of my price range. I max out at three thousand. I don't think you'll have any trouble selling it. Thanks for posting it.

Best Regards,

Mila
