I know the Burros are built in right and left halves, but is it common/normal for the benches to be out of line like this?

Don't know, but it is a standard feature on the Burro to have a Blue Recycle trash can that sits on the rear bumper....

yep. Haven't a clue why. Must have been a mold mismatch they lived with.

It used to bug me in my 13, but I got over it.

Well as long as it doesn't mean there's an issue with the frame, etc. I could get used to it too. I wondered if it was common-but-not-a-problem since I couldn't see anything mismatched on the outside of this one.

To answer your question "YES"....I've owned 2 Burro's and both were like that ,one was so bad I started to take a sawall to it and try to line it up my self but saw that it would be WAY TO MUCH trouble.. I've seen 5 burro's personally and all were like that......Something you will just have to get use to...Hope this helps

I would imagine it would be pretty easy to take care of if you shim the left bench until they're even before screwing it back in place.
Doubt you'd even notice it once the cushions were in place however..

Not that it matters for this Burro (and not that it's a real problem), but I think the benches are a part of the whole inside liner shell, so it's not like you could just move it up a couple inches and screw it back down again (in other words, I don't think the benches are separate units like they are in a Boler clone).
