Here before E-Bay - 1972 Amerigo FG-16 camper. EVERTHING works, well cared for. It is in original condition with a 20 gal fresh water tank, 6 gal recirculating toilet, dinette (folds down to a bed), Dometic dual refrigerator, 3-burner range with oven, rear seating area (converts to fullish-size bed), dual propane tanks, plenty of storage, AIR CONDITIONING, nice camper. The wheel bearings were redone about 2 years ago and it pulls straight with a 2" ball hitch. New cover included. Contents of the camper are included - too much to mention. When washed, the front window leaks - not much, I wipe it up with a hand towel. All power cables, hoses, etc. are included. Tires are good. Have all the manuals/receipts. GROOVY WALLPAPER INCLUDED!!!

Asking $3800 OR BEST OFFER

Heck, if she's interested I'll cut her a deal and deliver if necessary. Kinda of would like to sell to someone here rather than E-Bay... It's already got the TX Classic Travel Trailer plate!

I am very interested, but need to know how much it weighs when loaded. We have a 1500lb tow limit on my vue, its a 4 cyl. standard trans.

BTW we survived Ike, no damage to our home only lots of fallen trees. Our elc. is down since 2am friday, and we are getting lots of practice running low wattage devices off our car battery, and using led lights around the house. Not to shabby, we have a laptop running off the car, and watching a movie, a fan blowing cool air on us, and I have a charged battery in my lap top.
And as I type this, the power came back!!!

Can you show me more photos and let me know about that tow weight. We would be happy to consider your offer!!

April,

Glad all is well, and you get to practice your "camping skills" in the 'comfort' of your own home...Fiberglass trailers are just as comfortable and dry, so you're almost there!!

When I saw this posted, and it's location, I thought of you right away...tried calling your name but the winds from "Ike" blew it farther west.

GOSH I hope this works for you...I know it's bigger than a 13ft, but when I read it, you're the first person I thought of...

April, when you ask weight when loaded. No one can answer that for you, cause loaded means how much stuff you put in, chairs, food, cloths, bedding, etc, etc, etc not even counting the weight of water on board. It's such a tuff ? to answer, even trailer weights vary with the amount of up-grades added. Hopefully Steve can help you with the trailer weight but then it's up to you, it's called self controll as far as how much stuff you take camping with you. For me, it's tough, I am getting better but I tend to over pack. Good Luck on your quest for just the right trailer. Robin

I guess I should ask what the dry weight is instead.

I'll try and get the dry weight, but no promises. I don't have a way to weigh the camper easily.

Matter of fact, if anyone knows the dry weight, please post - the only manual I don't have is the Amerigo one. I think Gina should know...

We are going to have to pass on this one, it is just too big for our vehicle... I really appreciate you giving me a chance to get it! Best wishes in finding a new home for your camper.

I took a look at them, but didn't see weight anywhere.

Planning on listing this on e-Bay this weekend if I don't hear anything from here.

Don't forget OR BEST OFFER part!

Steve,

Hold off on the E-bay listing. I would like to come check out the trailer as we are looking for something bigger than the U-Haul.
I am located in the metroplex (Haltom City).

Thanks,

I don't know what an Amerigo weighs, sorry. I have only seen 2 in my short life.

I am going to step out on a limb tho and say it is most likely beyond your 1500 lb limit. It's too big and long to be near that 1500.

Steve, how many people will this camper sleep? I'm interested in something for my married daughter and family. Please let us know at the end of the weekend if you still have it available or if you sold it to Geary. Thanks much.

If my wife loaded it it would be close to 8000 lbs.

Don't worry April,
The perfect trailer will come along.

Gina,

I will go by the CATS scale after I pick up the trailer.
