We have a 1973 Compact II for sale in north Idaho (near Coeur d'Alene). The color is original light green with a white poptop. The interior is original except for new poptop fabric and windows (2007), an air conditoner in the mid-front window (does not affect appearance), and camper-themed curtains. It has a refrigerator, 3-burner stove, oven, sink with pressure water, closet/pantry (instead of toilet), 2 propane tanks, spare tire, heater. Everything works. And it is amazingly clean for its age. Judith admits she is not a great photographer, but if you reply, we can e-mail a photo. We are asking $4,500.

It has been the most amazing ice-breaker - everyone who sees it want to know about it and see inside. We've run into only one or two more on our travels, and that creates an instant reunion. We will miss our Compact but are getting ready to move into snowbirding and camp hosting and so, sadly, must move on. Hope to hear from anyone seriously interested. Thanks so much for reading this post. Charles and Judith F.

PS This is our first post, so please let us know if we need to do anything differently in this forum.

Your post is just fine. Welcome and I'm sorry you didn't find us sooner. There are a lot of people looking to buy and hopefully your trailer will find a new home quickly.

You're welcome to post pictures here, it would save you on e-mailing them to all the interested parties. See these two topics for picture posting help:

Thank you, Donna, but guess what, it's sold! A nice family nearby and they are very excited. I'm sure they will be posting soon. I would like to know if we can remove this topic and also, if we aren't going to be involved anymore, can we remove ourselves from fiberglassrv? It's a great Website, but I don't think we will qualify anymore as we are shopping for a new (horrors) bigger trailer. Thanks again. Judith

Hi, Judith- We don't require that you own a molded fiberglass travel trailer to participate here; just that you have an interest in the subject. And we don't need to delete members, because it messes up the discussions to have posts removed...

You never know; you might find someday you have a question that we can answer (because it has to do with your fridge or some other component that is the same on any kind of travel trailer). Good luck with your search for a new(er) RV.
