Purchased about 12 years ago, probably used it about 7-8 times total away from home. Standard layout, everything works. Selling it because wife wanted something with a shower, so we bought a "fixer-upper"
Casita a few years ago that I plan on restoring this summer.
About the name Acorn: from my understanding,
Scamp had to use the name "Acorn" for a short time because of a legal dispute over the name "Scamp". For all practical purposes it's a
Scamp, and any parts ordered from
Scamp should be compatible. I've ordered a few parts from them over the years and everything has fit fine.
Physical condition: it isn't what I'd call "mint", if that's what you're looking for, but is is in pretty good shape for its age and everything works. The upholstery is original and is in "ok" shape, but there is a spot worn on the edge of one of the dinette back cushions. Particle board table has some surface swelling due to spills/condensation/moisture. The shell is solid but has a few scratches. The floor is solid all around.
Located in Brookings South Dakota, about 45 miles north of Sioux Falls on I-29.
