1988 Casita lightweight Travel Trailer $6500 OBO

16’ travel trailer. Deluxe model. We are the third owners of this unique trailer. We love this trailer and are sad to see it go but with a new addition to the family we have outgrown it. We have been in the process of totally refurbishing the trailer and just returned from a two week, 2000 mile trip with the trailer.

Since we have owned it we have: replaced all wood flooring including the sub-flooring, took out carpet on the floor and replaced with nice dark laminate (we are adding the trim next weekend). All cushions have new foam and new upholstery, new tires prior to our trip, greased wheel bearings, sealed windows, replaced propane regulator, and new water heater hook up assembly. Carpet was recently steamed cleaned and added an addition to the side couch to make into a single bed.

5000 BTU Air conditioner, works great!!
Furnace
Water pump and 9 gallon fresh water tank
Bathroom with/shower, marine quality toilet and small sink
Rear dinette makes into a double bed
Awning in great condition
2 burner gas stove, sink and stove fan
Nice light tan carpeting on the walls
Side couch that makes into a single bed
Dual propane tanks
3 Way Fridge, works great.
Smoke/Carbon detector

The fiberglass shell is in great condition and has no sagging on the roof. Great to tow, easily pulled behind our Toyota Sienna. We have the original owners manual.

We also have a new ball and hitch, and a Reese single bar weight distribution hitch with sway bar that could be sold with the trailer. This little Casita is ready to be towed away with a new owner.

new to the site, new to fiberglass rvs, could you send a few more pics of the roof, and underside. How does the bathroom function.

I'll get some pictures of the roof and underside tomorrow afternoon.

We've haven't use the bathroom yet. The sink and shower work fine. The toilet had a leaky valve that I replaced. The toilet does flush and works. Sewer drain hose is fine. I do have a few more pics of the bathroom and some additional indoor pics I'll post this evening.

Sorry we got home late tonight. I snapped a few pics of the roof and underside. It was a bit dark so I had to blast the flash. You'll see the vent on top has tape on it, hail stone hit it a couple weeks ago. Roof is in great shape, very small dip towards the front-middle. Feels solid, I wouldn't call it "saggy" at all.

Underside is pretty good shape, you'll see a few extra rivots from when we put the new subflooring down. No cracks on underside that I have found.

I included a picture of left rear, there is a repaired crack. It was there when we bought it. We haven't had any problem with it.
