That there looks like possibly a good deal! Price is high enough a "flipper" won't get it. -Dan

The 13 is 950 dry.
Must have put the 13 figure up.

The new after the fire, 13 is listed at 1200 as equipped on the page. Used to be listed at 950 dry awhile back. They lost the 13 molds in the fire and had to reconstruct them from the 16 which is why there is more headroom in it now.
Of course the curb weight would depend on what options one equipped it with. A deluxe model would be heavier then a standard, A/C would add a bit of weight, etc. Only way to know for sure what your particular weight would be is to take it to a scale.

It sorta doesn't look like a Scamp to me.

It looks more like a Love Bug II. One piece side window, and triple clearance lights centered over front window (indicating a wide-body) clued me in. If it [b]is a wide body Love Bug II then the bed(s) will be [b]larger than a 16' Scamp's.

Well, I am brokenhearted. We were on our way to Phoenix to get the camper tomorrow morning. They just called and said they sold it locally even after committing it to us. I guess the Good Lord did not want us to have this egg so we will keep hunting. We were going to get a trailer for two but it was just more money than we have at the time.

So the hunt is still on for us......

if you had your heart set on a Love Bug 16..

Here is one in Kentucky

The same thing happened to me.. twice.. when looking for my first rig. Some folks just don't stick with their word.

The first time, it got sold out from under me, the second time, and I don't blame the seller, a sale that he thought fell thru came back up. He held to his word for the first buyer even tho it was less money for him.

Ying and Yang.. all in one week!

Thats OK, I ended up with a rig I loved and treated me well. I sold it for more than I paid, and got my money back (Mostly) for my upgrades.

Thanks! However, we made a deal at 2500. That is the bummer. I am sure whoever got it said they would give more...

Oh well, we are patient on our end as our camping season is nearly over. Will be hovering around looking. Found a trillium that I absolutely adore BUT it is up in Canada and we are in New Mexico...what to do??
