SOLD: 1988 Scamp 19ft 5th wheel

This is a project. The biggest issue with this unit is that the upper bunk floor needs replacing. All the other work is mostly cosmetic. Needs the fridge replaced. Now the good stuff. This unit comes with the original ball hitch as well as a brand new powered 12 ft awning $1500 US' A full set of new upholstery for all foam cushions and bed foam. It also has a new set of entry stairs and other misc new parts . I am unable to post pictures' but will keep trying to figure it out. $ 4000 Dave

Did you just buy this? A floor replacement no biggee just whack the old out and replace of course try to hit a floor joist somewhere in that process.

Don't make it bigger than it needs to be such as tearing walls down and such then it will be a whole years project!

Less on the work more on the rving is my motto!

bob oh did I say I am cheap and the moocher?

That's right Bob. A good friend of mine bought this trailer 5 years ago and bought all the goodies to fix it up.It never got covered up and the vent on the front leaked causing the floor problem. He passed earlier this year and the family did not want to deal with it. I purchased it from them' and find that I just don't have the time to take it on. I wish I did' as these make great RV's. But my horses have to come first. Thanks Dave

your 5th wheel

dave I see some real bargains turning up but at 75 just too much work. Although I am temped on your rig I don't think it would be a biggee to fix. Seems about 1 of these a week are turning up.

did I say I run a 13f scamp it looks ridiculous and I am 75

good luck

Thanks Bob. Well at 78 (yesterday) I think someone younger looking for a decent project will turn this back into the great unit it once was. I have a young fella coming tomorrow as his dad has one and he wants to go the Scamp route. We shall see. Thanks again. Dave
