Thumbs up SOLD: 1997 16' Scamp Trailer - West Bend, $4000

I'm selling my Scamp trailer - it's a 1997 16' Scamp that works well. I just don't have time to use it and it's sat for one year so I'm deciding to sell it to invest in ice fishing equipment. I'm asking $4,000 firm - please don't waste my time if you want to deal. These go for $5500-$6000 pretty regularly and I'm just trying to get my money out of it. Here are the details:

-3 Burner Stove
-Couch that turns into dual bunks in front
-Brand new tires
-Electrical hook-up
-Exhaust fan on top
-Fresh water hook-up
-Closet/Bathroom (with port a potty)
-Spare tire included
-No known leaks
-Refrigerator, but I've never used it and don't know if it works
-No furnace
-Awning attached but previous owner said part of the awning broke and was never fixed so I've never used or tried it.

I will post some as soon as I'm able. I'm guessing this will sell quick at this price.

Yes, we've seen bidding wars on trailers just like stick 'n bricks houses. What we don't do, is offer more for a trailer when someone has ALREADY accepted an offer from someone. That's NOT nice. If the ad says "OBO" it can be a free-for-all

Sometimes a buyer offers a higher price to secure the sale and then picks it apart at inspection. As a seller I only accept offers below, at or above asking price when they are accompanied with a deposit, usually via PayPal or equal.

Unless a seller misrepresented the item offered, the price is usually locked in with the deposit.

As a seller I will only accept back-up offers once a deposit is secured with the understanding that the first buyer has to default before the back up is accepted.

Thank you for clearing this up for me. Sounds like when a bit of money has changed hands to show good faith or a party chooses to accept the word of a prospective buyer the deal is considered closed.

All - this is pending pick-up for $5,000. I have a next in line if that offer falls through. Thanks all for your interest.
