Hi,

I'm not familiar with an "accumulator". What is it?

Thank you.

Accumulator Tank for use with Water Pump
I just bought one to stop my water pump from short bursts of cycling on when I want to leave the pump switch on. This would be helpful when I want to flush the toilet in the middle of the night, because I ALWAYS forget to turn the pump on before I go into the bathroom.

Hello, I'm new to this forum

I'm interested in your Casita. I have a F150 with a manual transmission which lowers the tongue weight to 350 LBS. I noticed your WDH comes with the Casita. Will this allow me to increase the weight limit to a 17 foot casita?

Thank you!

Greg

Greg, I think you'll be fine pulling with your F-150, whether you use the WDH or not, even with the manual transmission.

I tow with a Ranger so you should have no problem. The max gross weight of the trailer is 3500 so you should be able to keep the tongue to 350. The WDH will improve the tongue weight situation as it spreads the weight to the trailer and truck axles.

We need to be careful making judgments about towing capacity based just on model. There are versions of the F150 with manual transmission that can only tow 2000 lbs. which is less than my trailer empty. I have a Ranger, a smaller truck, which is rated to tow 5580 lbs. There are also models of the Ranger that can tow only 2180lbs. You have to go by the way the truck is equipped. If he the F150 has a 3:55 rear end gear, then it can tow 3500lbs. as long as the bed isn't loaded with an ATV. The total GCWR is what matters.

One add-on I forgot to mention. I have a Calmark Cover Co. custom fit cover for the Casita.

Change in asking price. Now $11,000. The trailer is great and I love it but I have found camping alone is not as enjoyable as it was when I camped with my kids. I find I just do not use the trailer.

$11,000 is a great price, especially considering the very nice mods you have made, and the low mileage. Someone should snap this one up!
