We are the third owners of this Scamp. It has not been heavily used or traveled with--our family simply got too big for a 3 person camper. It was used this past summer three times in very short distances. We have decided that the 16' Scamp with bunk beds is more helpful for a family of 4 campers!

May I ask what you pull this with? I've been looking st 13's, but the seem a little tight. I notice a furnace isn't mentioned--have you ever used a portable heater in the scamp?

Sure, we pull it with a 2011 Honda Pilot or a 2009 Toyota Highlander.

There is no furnace, and we've never used any kind of space heater in it. Perhaps we are fair weather campers?

Kim, in both our Uhaul and Casita we use small electric heaters when we have electric hookup. Tried a few different brands, currently using a Vornado.
