SOLD: 2009 17' EggCamper - $13,000

Pensacola, Florida
We are the original owners of this lightly used 17' EggCamper. All electric, with awning, AC & heater, refrigerator, shower and flush toilet, microwave, extra-large table, extra built-in shelves, curtains, cushions, and foam bed. We have only spent 59 nights in it (so far). New Kumho radial 857 tires and aluminum wheels in April 2012. These tires are load rated D (eight ply equivalent), and speed rated R (109 mph) so they aren't limited to 65 mph as are most other trailer tires! The interior height is 6' 7"!!
Check out the manufacturer's website here: LIGHTWEIGHT FIBERGLASS TRAVEL TRAILER

We are selling this because we just put down a deposit to buy a new 21' Escape.

We are in Pensacola. The tongue weight was 281 lbs the one time I weighed it. Any options are listed above - awning, microwave, cushions, curtains, bed, etc. (?), are all options with the EggCamper, or at least they were when we bought ours. Yes, we have put down a deposit on the 21' Escape. When not towing our 4.6 L Tundra normally gets about 20mpg on the highway, when towing, it gets about 14mpg.

To answer questions:

Yes, the bathroom door is just a shower curtain. We've been married 46 years and any modesty has long disappeared. One EggCamper owner on this board did put in a "regular" door and said it was a pretty easy project. If I remember correctly, he bought a shower door at Lowes (etc.), and used it. Maybe a search will bring up the discussion.

Yes, the floor is resin (or fiberglass, I don't know the difference), coated wood - both top and bottom. There are drain holes in each corner of the camper for any condensation or leaking water to drain through. Right after buying the egg I did discover a leak around the emergency window, but it was an easy fix with butyl tape.

Yes, it's still available, as a matter of fact, we just had it out for two night this past week. I just finished a review of the park here:
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ida-61357.html

Oh, and the shelves are in the closet next to the door. I put in wood shelves in the top, and a set of removable wire shelves in the bottom. That way I could still access the power panel in needed.

If we still have the EggCamper this winter, we plan to attend "Scamp Camp" and visit relatives in Largo and Bonita Springs. I'll drop you a line some time before the trip if it's still a go.

Hi Ray

It looks like you bought the same type aftermarket wheels I installed on my '07 EggCamper. I guess great minds think the same.

After looking at other ads I think I might have priced our EggCamper too high - I think a more realistic price would be $13,000.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I have put LEDs in all the interior lights and we also have a cover that we've never used.

There are transporters who could deliver it for a fee. Just a thought.

Mike... if that fee was $100 It would be possible. More than likely the fee would raise the camper out of my price range.

Come on down! This is just the start of the best camping weather of the year - and most of the tourists have left so the parks are almost empty.

Ray
I would love to but my business partner just had surgery and I am stuck doing all the work alone no time to do any thing. If I was retiered I would have jumped at the invite!

Please do. And there is some great camping here in the Panhandle, especially this time of year.
