Now I'm confused too after looking at the 2016 16ft Scamp you had marked sold. Pls clarify.

Hello Marsh,

Thanks for your inquiry. We have never had this weighed, so am unsure of the precise weight. That said, we have no problem towing this with either our 6 cyl. Jeep Wrangler (3,500 towing capacity) or 6 cyl. Toyota Highlander (5,000 towing capacity). Yes, you see our Highlander in the photos.

Our Scamp is stored in an indoor facility in Ramsey, Minn, very near Anoka.

This is not the same as the 2016 Scamp we listed as sold last year with oak woodwork and front dinette. This is a new one (2017) we bought last spring with birch woodwork and side dinette.

We have found that we enjoy our traveling so much we are going to do a lot more of it, and would prefer a little more room. As a result we are purchasing a 21 foot fiberglass trailer.

Our Scamp is spotless and fresh. The unit has never been smoked in.

There is a posting on the internet of actual weights people have shared on various fiberglass trailers. Just Google fiberglass trailers actual weight.

The Scamp deluxe entries reveal weights between 2500 and 2800 lbs.
