Hi everyone. I am located near Campellford Ontario and have a beautiful 1979 - 4500 Trillium in great shape. I am downsizing to a smaller tow vehicle and want to reduce my tow weight and would prefer a Boler. I paid 5,200 for my Trillium. Perhaps there is someone out there that owns a Boler and wants a little more room. please call me at (phone no. removed) or e-mail me.

Hi Donna,

I am in no position to trade (my loss) but I am just curious why you specified a boler over a 13' trillium or other 13' trailer.

Cheers,

Donna,
I have a 1981 Deluxe Trillium 1300. If you're interested, you may e-mail me at qbc3@hotmail.com Which configuration does your 4500 have; i.e., a couch or coffee table in the front section? Also, I'd like to see a few interior and exterior pictures. I may be reached at 513-899-4144 until 2:00 p.m., then at 513-612-5793 from 2:00 until 11:00 p.m..

Hi Booker good question the answer is simple. My friends have a Boler and I like the vintage look. But I am open to any "egg" that is 13 ft. so that I can reduce my tow capacity on whatever tow vehicle I buy.

Gene: Wonderful chatting with you on the phone. I think my issue with exchanging is the distance between us and the fact that I do not have a tow vehicle presently. The Detroit border is 6 hours away. I am going to look locally here first. But I am working on those photos for you non-the-less as promised. I had a house full of guests this weekend and couldn't get to it. Cheers Donna

I got your phone message, thanks, your Boler sounds perfect but ... Yep we are a little to far to do a swap. Perhaps we will see you at the Prairie Egg festival. We also have a Bolerama in Peterborough in Ontario on the July 5 weekend. I do not doubt that you will find a Trillium of your liking, locally. We are all a relentless bunch when it comes to finding those
eggs". Cheers Donna D

Wow! Put a sign on it at "Emily" and you may go home with a different trailer.
Most people with a Tril are glad to have the more squared corners. I don't think that you're going to gain{loose] a lot of weight advantageby changing. A lot of the weight is what we pack and what we load the things with. I think you'll find that the total being towed is not very much different.

James the 4500 is[b] 4.5 meters = 14.7637795 feet plus it has more headroom (6' 5" I believe) so it is also taller than a 13' boler. Having compared the two after getting my Boler, I know there is a lot more Fiberglass in the 13' Trillium and would expect the differenc to be even great with the upsized version. For example the door and frame are double walled. All that should make for a bit of difference in weight and frontal area resistance when towing. I'm sure somebody here can give us the comparative specs.
