Several folks including myself have tried to email the seller on this ad and it is returning from Craigslist as not being valid. No other way listed to contact them.
Sounds too good to be true, probably is.

seems to have been removed. I checked: same date, same catagory, same area, and there is no such listing anymore so it musta been removed for some reason

Well if it really was $300 and only needed a powerwash on the exterior it likely sold in nano seconds.

This is quite stange, today I discovered this forum searching for information about fiberglass campers. Much to my surprise this thread is about the camper I just bought. This was a real ad and pretty much as advertised, I was the first to respond. The owner pulled the ad down when they received over 300 emails the first day. Cash on the spot and now in my driveway.

We stopped on the way home at self serve car wash, amazing how much that helped. Generally speaking it needs a lot of cleaning and some repair to the floor right at the door. Overall good shape, but does need some upgrading. It is all original, and sat in the second owners yard from the day they purchased years ago. All of the electrical and propane need to be replaced. Cushions need to be replaced or recovered. The carpet is already gone but will likely be replaced with hardwood. All exterior vents, and hatches need to be replaced as well as all three tires.

Looks like I will be spending a lot of time here trying to find my way through this restoration project. Here are a couple of "Dirty" pictures.

I am not sure the cemetery is a great backdrop for this one. I bet you will have it rise from the grave quite nicely!

Please post pics in the mods forums so we can follow your progress!

I am very curious why it sat for so long.

That funny I had not noticed the backround. We just stopped after the car wash to take a few pictures. It was the town DPW parking lot.

I think the previous owners had lots of plans just never got around to them. Its too bad, the camper sat in the back yard for so long that the tires had sink in the dirt to the rims.

I will post picts along the way, and will be looking for inspiration and advise along the way.

Mike
