Thumbs up

I emailed this guy and asked him if it was a Compact Jr. and he said "Yes, I believe it is."

He also let me know the price so I'm passing this along-perfect location for me, but too much work for me to fix it up for travelling this summer (not thrilled with the layout for the 3 of us to try to fit into either)

This is a vintage fiberglass travel trailer. I have painted it from the default baby blue to sandstone and black. There is no water damage or rotting except a small section of wood that holds up the cushions for seating.
The damage to the wood is very minimal and not structurally important. Overall the unit is in good shape. A small latch that holds a cabinet door closed is broken, im guessing Home Depot has that. The roof is in good shape. I had glued linoleum to the roof when I was on a road trip to drown out the rain noise. The material is peeling now and shouldn't be too hard to get off. The electrical system is in good shape but needs hookups for the battery. The undercarriage is wood and is in excellent shape. It has been specially treated with a waterproof laminate that should last for many years. The propane tank im guessing is about half empty, I also fixed a leak in a joint between the tank and interior. The water tank is in good shape. The stove works fine. Sink works fine. The roof can be raised about 1 ft for ventilation, and blue canvas and two screens keep the insects out. The mechanism that raises the roof works okay except its kind of tricky to get one side to lock. I have also added Astro Foil to the interior for insulation. This material needs to be painted.

Yesterday he had a $2000 price on it. It seems to have been edited out.

He has lowered the price to $1000 (I assume there is a new listing on Craigslist but I haven't looked; he emailed me to tell me the price was lowered.)

I had a friend interested but she wants one "exactly" like mine, not just close. (Anyone know of a Campster for sale in California?)

I know. I told her about it and she only wants a Campster. (What can I say? I tried to tell her they were almost exactly the same.)

For the record, in the end the kid sold this Jr. for 800 bucks...and it's in OUR driveway!
